Wolseley on Tour in Glenshee                                                          Back
The photographs below were taken during the Wolseley Register (Car Club) 50th Anniversary tour of Scotland in July 2014. Some may look very familiar! The article that accompanied them was written by Seana and John McCombie - very interesting.

Treasurer's personal comment: This set me thinking. I belong to a far more select car club - the Alvis Register - which welcomes owners and those with an interest in Alvis cars manufactured between 1919 and 1933. Our family car for the early years of my life was a vintage 1932 Alvis 12/50 saloon ( View ). We then upgraded to a newer Alvis TA21. The Register's annual weekend in June 2016 will be based in Aberfeldy in Perthshire. Can I persuade the cars to visit the Cockstane en-masse. A photograph of a number of Alvis cars in the Cockstane car park really would be a dream come true for me. JPH.
